#AskBCRF Social Media Event

By BCRF | March 26, 2015

Share your questions on inherited susceptibility to breast cancer between March 26 and 27 and one of our leading scientists will answer a select few in an upcoming blog post.

After actress and filmmaker Angelina Jolie Pitt revealed she underwent two preventive surgeries to remove her ovaries, fallopian tubes, and both breasts because she carries a BRCA1 genetic mutation, we noticed that many of you have questions about inherited susceptibility to breast cancer. At BCRF we fund more than 225 researchers, many of whom dedicate their careers to studying how a person’s family history could increase her or his risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer.

On March 26-27 we will be hosting a social media event where you can pose your questions with our leading experts.

Simply share your question on TwitterFacebook or Instagram with the #AskBCRF hashtag. We will be conferring with our renowned investigators and will publish a select number of their responses in an upcoming blog post. Keep in mind that BCRF does not provide medical advice. For personal medical questions, always consult with your physician.

We look forward to hearing from you.
