Boscov's On August 24, 2007, Boscov's held its annual Pink Ribbon Open, hosted once again by Maralyn and Ken Lakin of Boscov's, at the Berkshire Country Club in PA to raise funds for BCRF. The outing kicked off a long list of efforts by Boscov's to raise money and awareness for the cause, including the sale of pink items in all Boscov's stores. Guests enjoyed a fabulous day of golf, door prizes, and delicious food. Over $120,000 was raised for BCRF. During the event it was announced that the Reading Royals will be sponsoring a very special hockey game, Pink in the Rink, on February 1, 2008. Four dollars of every $25 package will be donated to BCRF and to Berks County Breast Cancer Support Services. |
