A Daughter's Legacy
Advisory board member Arlene Taub and her husband Joe, long-time supporters of BCRF, have made an extraordinary gift — $5 million to support two investigators annually for the next ten years. This gift honors the memory of the Taubs' beloved daughter Sandy, who waged a decade-long battle against breast cancer. "My appreciation of Dr. Larry Norton and others at Memorial Sloan-Kettering is boundless," said Arlene Taub. "We want our gift to support promising BCRF research at MSKCC so that women newly diagnosed with breast cancer can have bright prospects for survival. We are honored to be associated with BCRF in this goal."
