Bloomingdale's Fights Breast Cancer with Fashion


Pink was the new Brown during October, 2007, at Bloomingdale's stores nationwide. Their breast cancer campaign included a special "Pink" edition of Bloomingdale's Little Brown Book, an on-line "Pink" Boutique, and two exclusive items—the Big Pink umbrella and the Little Pink Gift Card— that were all sold to benefit BCRF. The whimsical artwork by cartoonist Marisa Acocella Marchetto, was woven throughout the campaign. Led by Michael Gould, Chairman and CEO, the program raised an amazing $416,000 to-date.
