The Estée Lauder Companies global landmarks illumination initiative
October 1st marks the kickoff of The Estée Lauder Companies' Global Landmarks Illumination Initiative, now in its eighth year. The Initiative has set hundreds of famous monuments in over 50 countries aglow in pink light to raise awareness of breast cancer. For a day or more throughout October, these renowned sites become beacons of hope.
Some of the Global Landmark Illuminations happening on October 1st include: Cabildo de Buenos Aires and Piramide de Mayo in Argentina; the Uniqua Tower and the Lentos Museum in Vienna, Austria; The Amsterdam Arena in the Netherlands; The Vancouver Art Gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia; Azrieli Center in Tel-Aviv, Israel; Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand; Abdulahim Office Building in Bankok, Tailand; The Bank of America in Miami Florida; and of course every one of The Estée Lauder Companies' Melville facilities will also shine in pink.
