Patricia Hansen Limited Edition Giclées
Watercolorist, Patricia Hansen, originally from the San Francisco Bay area and now living and working in Saratoga, New York, has created limited-edition giclées to increase awareness and raise money for breast cancer research.

The artist has signed and numbered 300 limited-edition giclées of an original watercolor piece entitled, "The Resolution". All of the profits - a minimum of $40 each - will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The giclées retail for $200.
"The Resolution" is 8" x 10" and portrays a young woman resting quietly in a chair, a reflection of her breasts mirrored in the background. An intensely rich watercolor, the painting boasts a variety of texture and color, in striking contrast to the simplicity of the human form which is the subtle focus of the piece. The reflection acts not only as a metaphor for the image we all see when faced with the fears, anxieties and sorrows attached to breast cancer and the people we love who are connected with it, but also as a reminder to be diligent with our self-examinations, check-ups and mammograms.
