Ribbons for Robin

Inspired by the loss of her mother, Robin Metzger, to breast cancer, 13 year old Sydney Metzger created "Ribbons for Robin" which organized its first community walk in October, 2008.
Sydney stated that she 'wanted to help people fight off this horrible killer' so she mobilized over 200 volunteers to walk in Tamaques Parks and generate donations to BCRF through the sale of baked goods, shirts and bracelets. An amazing $15,000 was donated to the foundation from this event.

Sydney has created a special website where you can read all the details about this amazing young woman and all those who supported her.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is honored to have been chosen as the beneficiary of Sydney's tribute.
