Pink Out at Winter Springs High School
Winter Springs High School, in Winter Springs, Florida, hosted a Pink Out for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this past fall!
Their total Pink Out was held to raise funds for BCRF. The Pink Out included a Class Penny War where each class competed to win by donating the most change. Besides an exciting, eventful atmosphere, students sold pink t-shirts, hair bands and pink bracelets. With the help of Hagerty High School, there were two football teams decked out in pink. In addition, the band, cheerleaders, color guard, and dancers were cheering them on. Through the hard work of all involved, these students were able to raise over $1,700 for breast cancer research!
