Mother's for Daughters' : Bikers For The Cure
Mother's For Daughters' began in 2007, when Sharon Alves, a breast cancer survivor and Magnus Thorsson, (owner of the Gray Ghost Inn) brought caring motorcyclists together to raise funds for breast cancer and ovarian cancer research.
The 1st annual event was held in West Dover, VT in May 2008 at which the participating bikers raised $7,000 for breast anc ovarian cancer research. In 2009, the proceeds doubled! With the help of motorcyclists, motorcycle groups and local business, the word is spreading and the 2010 event promises to be bigger and better than ever!
