host your own fundraiser to benefit BCRF!
Hosting your own fundraiser is a great way to raise money for breast cancer research, and offer friends and family an opportunity to have fun! Take a look at some of the events (links shown left) that have been organized to benefit BCRF.
Here is how you can get started:
Step 1: Decide what kind of fundraiser you want to host.
It could be a bake sale, an auction, a sporting event, a birthday party - there are so many creative ways to raise money and get your community involved. Browse previous fundraisers for inspiration!
If you would like to invite your friends and family to make a donation in lieu of wedding gifts, birthday gifts or for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah, BCRF has created sample cards and text (click on linked text) that you can adapt for your own fundraiser.

Step 3: Know the facts!
Learn about our work and mission so that you can tell your friends why you are supporting BCRF. Tell your family and friends exactly where their donation is going. And you can also request our marketing materials!
Step 4: Check out BCRF's exciting and easy-to-use Fundraising Website!
You can create an individual or team page for your event, and set up your own HQ where you can check stats and reports, edit your page, or email friends and family. Donors to an event can set individual goals on their own donation page, with a full suite of tools and edit functions. Visit www.fundraiseforBCRF.org - it's fun and easy to use! Create a page in minutes, and start fundraising for BCRF!
Step 5: After your event, let us know how it went!
BCRF's Time For Resarch program allows you to sponsor lifesaving research time, hour by hour. Sponsor a half-hour for $25 (minimum donation), an hour for $50, two hours for $100, half a day for $600. There's no limit! Visit our Time For Research website and create your own Time For Research fundraising cause, or make a direct donation!
Using The Breast Cancer Research Foundation name:
If you intend to make us your beneficiary charity and would like to use our name, you are welcome to say that proceeds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. Please make checks payable to this name, and send them to:

Sending your donations to BCRF:
You can either submit your donations online, or you can use our mail-in Donation Form, if you prefer. Fill out and print the form, enclose check(s) if applicable, and mail to BCRF as specified.
If you are a small business selling a product and donating an amount from your sales, please contact Janis Choy at jchoy@bcrfcure.org. This is an area of fundraising handled by our Marketing department. Janis will gladly walk you through the steps.
BCRF is also a registered charity on the FirstGiving fundraising website.
