BCRF awarded $32 million in grants to 151 international researchers at the annual BCRF Symposium and Awards Luncheon. The event was attended by 1100 breast cancer research supporters and raised almost $1.9 million.
The Humanitarian Award was presented to Katie Couric, in recognition of her role in demystifying cancer and heightening awareness of the urgency of early detection and screening.
