On July 12, 2010, William Lauder, Executive Chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies, and Paul Fireman, former Chairman and CEO of Reebok, supported The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) as co-chairs of the inaugural Hudson BCRF Golf Classic at the world renowned Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, New Jersey. The tournament was a huge success, even though some of the golfers had a tough time keeping their golf balls on the green as a result of the breezy weather. Over 150 guests attended the evening reception and helped raise over $500,000 to fuel the fight against breast cancer. The reception immediately followed the golf tournament and featured a private viewing of a luxury car collection and concluded with a special live performance by Hilary Gardner, the lead actress from the hit Frank Sinatra-inspired Broadway show, COME FLY AWAY. Also in attendance were former Miami Dolphin quarterback Dan Marino, former Miami Heat Center Alonzo Mourning and New York Jets linebacker Jason Taylor.
