BCRF "think tank" retreat generates inquiry, action

At the annual scientific retreat on October 28, 2008, all BCRF grantees in attendance participated in one of the six simultaneous sessions that were proposed and agreed upon prior to the meeting by consensus.

"We cannot allow the funding climate to curtail our creativity," said BCRF scientific director Larry Norton to the group before they convened for their break out sessions. "Let's just start talking about these important topics and see what happens."

Now, summaries of these sessions are available with agreed upon "next steps" or a "wish list" of projects to be organized and pursued.Click on any of the following links to read the summary. To find more information about individual researchers, visit our grantee listing.
