A Message From Leonard A. Lauder, Acting Chairman
Evelyn was so very proud of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and what it
accomplished in changing the face of women’s health when it came to breast cancer. Her
optimism about BCRF was unparalleled, and she put her heart and soul into fighting this
dreaded disease. BCRF and I will continue to fulfill her remarkable vision.
Since its inception, I have been actively involved in the Foundation, having worked beside my wife as she championed the cause. Recently, during Evelyn's illness, I often served as her spokesperson. And now, as Acting Chairman, I will keep her dream alive and honor her legacy. Evelyn's passion is my passion, and I am dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer.
In a newsletter message to you two years ago, Evelyn wrote, "We certainly do not plan to stop now as there is still more work to be done." You can be assured that BCRF and I will not stop now and that we will carry on her work. I hope that you will be able to help us by continuing to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
