There is a greater awareness than ever about breast cancer: the news, the numbers, the profound ways in which it affects everyone touched by it.
Our current PSA campaign, The Beauty of Breast Cancer Research Is That It Will Change The Future, adds to this awareness by continuing to inform and enlighten. It reiterates our belief that research makes the difference and reassures donors that a minimum of 85% of all funds we raise go directly to research. It speaks to our credibility and trustworthiness - who we are and what we do.
The campaign also speaks to what we have done, pointing out - with great pride - the crucial advances in prevention and treatment that have been made by using the right research in the right way. Saying that we are "breast cancer research will change the future" is a tribute to these advances and to the pivotal role BCRF has played since it was founded.
So this campaign will be able to raise a new awareness. The awareness of hope.
